Egg #2 of the Second Clutch Has Arrived! Jackie & Shadow’s Big Bear Nest Update

Big news from the Big Bear eagle nest—Jackie has laid Egg #2 of the second clutch! The special moment happened at 5:55 PM camera time, and eagle fans everywhere are celebrating another milestone in the incredible story of Jackie and Shadow, the beloved bald eagle pair of Big Bear Valley.

Jackie handled the egg-laying beautifully and is now resting peacefully while keeping both eggs warm and protected in the nest bowl. Watching her settle gently over the eggs is a reminder of the careful incubation process that helps ensure the best possible start for future eaglets.

For longtime eagle cam watchers and new eagle friends joining the journey, there’s another exciting detail: Jackie is famously consistent with her timing. She typically lays eggs three days apart, which means a possible third egg could arrive Monday if this clutch follows her usual pattern.

Meanwhile, Shadow continues his role as the attentive partner—standing guard nearby, delivering food, and helping maintain the nest. Their teamwork and dedication are exactly why the Big Bear bald eagle nest has become one of the most watched wildlife stories online.

Now the nest enters another exciting phase: incubation and egg watch. Every movement, chortle, and nest adjustment becomes part of the story as Jackie carefully protects the growing clutch.

For bird lovers, wildlife watchers, and Big Bear Valley fans, this is one of the most magical times of the year.

Stay tuned—more egg-citement may be coming soon!
