Jackie and Shadow, Big Bear Lake Eagles, Soaring over Big Bear Lake

Wild Summer Visitors at the Nest, and New Shirt Designs on the Way! 🐿️🦅🕊️

Summer in Big Bear isn’t just about quiet skies and lazy days for Jackie and Shadow—it’s also the season of surprise visitors! With the eaglets now off on their own adventures, the High Perch and nearby trees have become popular pit stops for a whole lineup of wildlife guests dropping in to say hello.

So far this week, we have spotted:

  • A gray squirrel making a bold appearance

  • A curious juvenile Red-Tailed Hawk

  • A sleek and stealthy Cooper’s Hawk

  • A pair of bright and beautiful Western Bluebirds

These surprise visits remind us that the Big Bear eagle habitat is home to much more than eagles—it’s a vibrant stop along the wild highway for all kinds of feathered and furry travelers.

We’re taking inspiration from these incredible visitors and working on a fresh batch of shirt designs for bird lovers and wildlife watchers. Whether it’s a red-tail in flight or a cheeky squirrel on the lookout, we’re crafting gear that captures the spirit of summer around the nest.
